The 1995 NewSchool entitled “Thoughts on the Network through the Network,” considered the new problems raised by media development and sought to look at the coming age through a reconsideration of the network from the perspectives of both technology and philosophy. There was discussion of the use of the global network for creative activities and its implications. Also KATSURA Eishi (documentation and information studies specialist) compiled a list and outline on the “Conceptual Background of Network Society,” which was presented on the network as “Network Bibliography.” These proceedings were presented on ICCnet (BBS) on the Internet.
