HIRAKAWA Norimichi

Profile

Born 1982. Has been exhibiting mainly audiovisual installations utilizing computer program based real-time processing at museums and media art festivals in Japan and abroad. He won numerous prizes including an Award of Distinction in the Interactive Art category at Ars Electronica in 2008. His wide-ranged activities include the production of works by IKEDA Ryoji, OTOMO Yoshihide and MIKAMI Seiko; participation in Salone del Mobile Milano; live performances as a member of Typingmonkeys; and artistic direction for the ARTSAT project among others.
