Media artists, professors at the Department of Media, Linz University of Arts. Respectively specializing in botany and art (SOMMERER), and media and video (MIGNONNEAU), they began to produce artworks together in 1992. Based on the idea of “art as a living system,” they have created a large number of works themed around artificial life, communication, and virtual reality.
