Titled “New Flatland,” this year’s edition focuses on artistic approaches in a technological environment in which, as a result of the integration of the real world and the world of information in the so-called “post-Internet age,” the originally contrasting dimensions of reality and virtuality have been leveled out and connected.

The exhibition in 2019 is titled “Open Space 2019: Alternative Views.” Inspired by the way our ideas and perceptions are continuously updated through alternative views of the world that we have been adopting, this exhibition attempts to approach the world and technology in particular in different ways, and present alternative views of all kinds of things by way of media.

Titled ”Open Space 2018: in transition,” this 13th installment of the “Open Space” series focuses on today’s ever-evolving technologies, and showcases artworks that represent future visions of mankind against the backdrop of this continuous state of technology in transition.

In the year of the 20th anniversary of the opening of ICC, the 12th installment in the series, titled “Open Space 2017: Re-envisioning the Future” and themed around creating new future visions, looks back on the past two decades, while at once reflecting on what kind of future we might be able to propose for the decades to come.
