Artists

KITO Ryota

Born in 1993. Graduated Master’s Course of Sculpture, Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts in 2024. Alongside creating sculptures in their original expressive form as part of everyday practice, he also produces works that incorporate metaphysical elements such as time and sound, employing a deconstructive approach. He perceives himself both as a unique individual and as an anonymous human being. Using this dual perspective as a starting point, he explores universal themes and phenomena, such as the concepts of originality and copies.
