NeoDough is a clay interface the dynamically controls the colors of the clay when stretched, connected, and torn apart. In this interface we use conductive clay which contains a module that consists of an electrode and LED. The connection of clay pieces is calculated by the resistance value between the electrodes and their color is assigned by additive color mixing. For example, when the user merges two pieces of clay that are each emitting green and red light, this combination will turn orange. By being able to effectively change colors of the clay during the molding precesses, user may be able to discover new creative outputs.
