Plant Tissue Cultures, made with genetically modified blue carnations. The carnations have been bought at the flower shop, the axillary buds isolated, sterilised and placed in containers with a growth medium consisting of minerals, sugars and plant hormones. The plants are currently prepared for an upcoming experiment, which will revert them to their unmodified, natural, white colour. (BCL | Georg Tremmel, Shiho Fukuhara)
