Born 1982. Has been exploring ways of perceiving environments through the senses of vision and hearing, and producing/exhibiting works in and outside Japan including installations, sound performances and CDs that are mainly based around material collected by way of field recording. Considering the practice of field recording as a form of “meditative hunting,” he continues to address through it the ambiguous relationship between man and nature.
