Born in 1977, JO Kazuhiro is a researcher and artist. He graduated from the Kyushu Institute of Design (now the Kyushu University Faculty of Design) and completed the doctoral course at the School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo. After working at the Software Development Laboratory, Software Division, IBM Corporation, the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo, and the Culture Lab, Newcastle University, he took up his current position as Assistant Professor at the Art Media Center, Tokyo University of the Arts. His main projects include “The SINE WAVE ORCHESTRA,” “Chiptune Marching Band,” “aeo,” and “dorkbot tokyo.”
