SAITO Tatsuya and ISHIGURO Hiroshi presented a performance piece starring the female android 'Repliee Q2.' The piece tells a very simple story in which "Repliee Q2" has her hair cut while seeking the hair stylist's advice regarding her hair problems. Through the situation of a machine that receives a service as a human person, the artists aimed to shed light on the mechanisms of casual communication with other people.
Shown in this exhibition was a newly assembled installation consisting of the android itself together with video footage shot during the performance at ICC.
Android: Osaka University, Kokoro Company Ltd.
Technical Support: OGAWA Kohei (Project Assistant Professor, Osaka University)
