In this cheery (or eerie) self-portrait of Barsamian, the mouth quickly
opens wide and finally turns the head inside out. When the artist's
mouth begins to engulf the head, everyday life items such as keys,
boots, a house and a toothpaste tube appear from the head. In the
course of the daily routine, there are just too many things the artist
must say. This work symbolically expresses the artist being overwhelmed
by the disorder of daily life.
