Artists

Komitsu

Artist, born 1993. Creates illustrations using felt-tip pens or watercolors, and animations based on those. Graduated from the Department of Animation, Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts, in 2018. In “here AND there” (2017) and “Wander in Wonder” (2018), while still enrolled at the Graduate School, she first took on the challenge to produce interactive works. She currently also does the irregular “Komitsu to Asoba Night! (Game Night with Komitsu)” program at honkbooks, running 1990s CD-ROM software on a Macintosh computer.
