KUBO Gaëtan

Born 1988. Completed studies at the Intermedia Art Course at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts, in 2013. In his works, he discusses by way of originally designed devices what he collectively refers to as “occult”: paranormal phenomena, scientifically imperceptible things, and invisible relationships within psychoanalysis and social science. Recent solo exhibitions include “Perspective of Memory” (Downtown Senju—Connecting through Sound Art, Tokyo, 2016). Later in 2016, he is planning to stay in France on a Pola Art Foundation Grant for Overseas Study.
