Artists

Julien MAIRE

Born 1969 in Metz, France, and presently lives and works in Berlin. Has been working at the intersection of installation, performance and media art since the mid-1990s, focusing on the production of works that can be presented in live performances. His installations and performances based on a unique style reinventing the technology of film media have been shown at places around the world. Maire partcipated in an artist residency program co-hosted by V2_ and Transmedia from April 2012, as part of which he worked in-residence in Brussels.
