The IS YOUR TIME Concert was an improvised performance for the “SAKAMOTO Ryuichi with TAKATANI Shiro | Installation Music 2: IS YOUR TIME” related event, held in the space of the “IS YOUR TIME” installation at the ICC in 2017. The performance includes music from the album “async” which was utilized as and element in the installation, audio from musical instruments including synthesizers and acoustic sounds from brushing of glass with contact microphones attached, and music played using the piano, an important element of the installation, from the Natori City, Miyagi Prefecture high school which was hit by a tsunami during the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake disaster.
