Play by Notes is a interface in which users can directly “perform” with a paper score. When the user places the score on the table and adjusts the musical notes to the position of the light, the music at that point will play. By seamlessly connecting the handling of tangible paper and the printed notes the user can freely produce music. In this version, we have proposed a systems with a sensor embedded in a table to identify the scores, and several performance techniques such as arranging the pieces of scores to compose music.
