By applying aesthetics of glitch art—the aestheticization of errors and noises in sound and image—Glitch Knit interprets and rediscovers errors such as loose stitches caused by the incorrect use of the knitting machine as physical glitches and expresses their texture. By remodeling household knitting machines that stopped being manufactured in the 1990s to receive images from computers, the project combines the possibility of expression by knitting machine and Glitch Knit.
