Born 1964 in Tokyo. Has been creating the “LOVE ARM” series and other sound sculptures, and staging performances featuring those works, since the 1990s. In 2004 he launched the sound/sculpture/performance project “The Rotators” as form of “research on the material civilization” in the mass-consumption society in the second half of the 20th century, juxtaposing musical instruments, furniture, electrical appliances, automobiles and other objects/technologies of daily use. Recent activities include also the creation of video works.
