Born 1984, SHIRAYA graduated from Department of Information Sciences at Ochanomizu University and currently studying for masters degree at the University of Tokyo. She is working on simulating how the wind travels between the buildings by calculating fluid mechanics. Her past interactive media art work, "Wind/Knowledge" successfully visualized the wind by simulating the condition of the wind traveling around the viewer.
