Profile

A video designer, instructor at the Gifu Prefectural International Academy of Multimedia Art and Science, and NHK video designer, Nakaya Hide was born in 1995 and completed graduate school at Tokyo Geijutsu Daigaku. He is a member of numerous organizations, including the Information Committee of the Japan Graphic Designers Association, the Multimedia Grand Prix judging committee of MITI's Multimedia Contents Foundation, the Japan Stage and TV Artists Association, Broadcast Designers Associates International, the MITI Industrial Design Association,and the G-Mark selection committee.

Besides being responsible for art direction for NHK specials and children's programs, Nakaya also directed the NHK corporate identity program, designed its logo, and worked on developing and directing the annual plan for its broadcast satellite and HiVision spot commercials. He was also the director of cinematography for the opening and closing titles at the Nagano Olympics (official titles for international broadcasts) and the opening and closing titles for each event.
