Sound artist. By refining ethnographic methods through scientific and technological approaches, he creates works that depict cross-culturally the origins of musical instruments and songs, rituals, and rites while recording them. His recent exhibitions include, “The Voice of Inconstant Savage” (2024, Centro de Arte Moderna Gulbenkian, Portugal) centered on the discourse of savagery in the 16th century and today, and “POLLINATORS” (2020, Saitama Triennale 2020) which is about the lives of the beekeepers and shamans of the Flower Hmong living in northern Vietnam depicted from a bee's perspective. He is currently living in Lisbon and is an associate researcher at CIEBA, the Artistic Studies Research Center, University of Lisbon, Faculty of Fine Arts.
