Born in 1970 in Darmstadt, Germany. His wide-ranging activities include installations of images and sound sources from field recordings; performances using machines and apparatuses he makes himself; sound objets; and interactive installations. He also engages in musical activities primarily for the Germany label, Trente Oiseaux. He currently does his work at INM (Institute of New Media) in Frankfurt.
