Alvaro Cassinelli was born in Uruguay in 1972. He obtained an Engineering degree on Telecommunications and a Ph.D in physics while living in France. He is presently Assistant Professor at the Ishikawa-Namiki-Komuro Laboratory (Meta-Perception Group) at the the University of Tokyo. His current research interests lie in the area of human-computer interfaces for enhancing human communication and expression.
