「綿毛で風に乗ったり，とげで動物の体に付着したり，
あるいは自らはじけ飛んだりするなど，
植物の種子には，遠くへ行くためのしかけが施されている．
一方切手は，郵便物を遠くへ運ぶことができることから
種子を切手に封入すれば，
自然の力で飛ぶよりもはるか遠くまで飛ばしてあげられると思い，
種子入り切手を制作した．
専用のポストカードに実際にこの切手を貼り，国内外の知人，
美術関係者に郵送もしている．

THE BARBERSHOP
"We work in a barbershop in Dojunkai. It is the last customer's service here. The district will be replaced by a shopping center soon. This barbershop was never really a meeting point for the people in this area. People find it fashionable to come here. So the barbershop profits from the atmosphere of this abandoned place." THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
"Dojunkai, one of the last social housing areas in the center of Tokyo will be replaced by a shopping complex by the end of this year. Although all inhabitants already moved out, we discovered lights in some windows during a night walk. An old woman lives here, since the very beginning. She wants to keep the neighbourhood 'alive' and refuses to move away until she dies."
