Rules of entry

-Both professional and nonprofessional applicants are invited to enter. Entries by individuals, groups or corporations will be accepted.
-Each entry must be a mashup of one or more web API/RSS resources and must include at least one web API/RSS service provided by goo.
-Each entry must be an original creation of the applicant(s) and must have not previously won a prize in any other competition.
-The copyright of all entries will remain with the applicant(s).

Entry formats

-Entries in the form of websites must be viewable with the following Web browsers: Internet Explorer 6, Firefox 2 or Safari 1.3 or later. Please provide the URL.
-Entries in the form of videos or video recordings of installation works must be in either the swf, wmv, mov or mpg format and be no more than 200 MB.
-Each entry must be no more than five minutes in length.

Application Procedure

Apply on the ICC website by filling out the online registration form with the following details:

name, address, age, telephone number, e-mail address, title of entry, description of entry, URL or file format (swf, wmv, mov of up to 200MB) and web APIs used

Application Deadline:

February 25 (Mon.), 2008 10:00am

Winners

Winners will be selected by the judges and announced on the ICC Mashup Art Contest website and on the special portal site provided by goo in early March. Winning works will also be used for publicity purposes on the ICC website as well as the goo website.

Grand prize: 300,000 yen (one prize)
Jury prize: 50,000 yen (four prizes)
goo prize: 50,000 yen (one prize)
