Rhizomatiks is a group of creators that provide technical support for the stage production of widely accepted Japanese techno-pop idol group Perfume. They also work on various projects that intersect the boundaries of entertainment and art, using advanced medias based on computer programming and device designing in productions of theater pieces, music videos, and exhibitions of media art work at museums. Their productions based on innovative and sophisticated ideas, which utilize the latest media technologies such as 3D scanning, data-visualization and wearable computing draws attention from around the world.

Rhizomatiks has received many awards at international and domestic festivals, including Ars Electronica and the Japan Media Arts Festival. They also have exhibited their work at ICC, YCAM (Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media) and the Mori Art Museum.
One of their projects Perfume "Global Site Project" has recently been awarded the Entertainment Division Grand Prize at the 16th Japan Media Arts Festival and also the Silver Lion Award at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2013.

Rhizomatiks has collaborated with many creators and artists, and this will be the first exhibition to focus on the advanced media based production techniques that they have used for Perfume.
