NTT InterCommunication Center (ICC) will hold a symposium titled "Post
Sampling Music Theory" with music critic Atsushi Sasaki as moderator.
With instructions by musicians Christophe Charles and Yoshihiro Hanno,
and GNUsic project experimenting with music production over the network,
the symposium will explore what happened on the music scene, what
changed and how, and what is happening now after sampling as a technique
went out of fashion. The symposium will be followed by a mini-concert
given by the two musicians.
