NSK STATE NSK is a complex organism. It has recently been redefined from an Organization into a State. A state in time, a state without territory and (national) borders, a "spiritual state". We have issued a passport (the NSK passport). You can become its holder and therefore a citizen of the NSK State. You can use the passport creatively, also as your official travel document, naturally at your hazard. With use, such passports will become rare artistic documents, and as years go by, their value will grow. Let us add that NSK is opening its embassies and consular offices worldwide. They operate as creative institutions, but still possess no permanent character. Within such an embassy, lectures are held, discussions, meetings, project presentations and various campaigns take place. An embassy was open for a month in Moscow in 1992, another one in Ghent in 1993, and we proclaimed a three-day "NSK State Therritory" in Berlin's Volksbuhne Theatre in October 1993. NSK is presently developing a similar "State Territory" in Sarajevo, Bosnia. By all means, we will work on the development of such embassies into permanent NSK centers throughout the end of the millenium. You may imagine this site as the basic principles of the NSK State in Architectural form, including: Corridor, Irwin Box, and the Laibach State Generator. Through these doors you can enter different rooms, different departments. The Embassy will be divided into permanent, and interactive sections. In the permanent section you will find a partial history of the NSK, momentoes from past projects by NSK's main operations: the Irwin Gallery, the Laibach Music room, the Retrovision Film screening room, the NSK information center, the Library, and other cultural artifacts. There will be also be interactive section exemplified by the NSK Passport Control Office, where it will be possible to apply for citizenship in the NSK State in Time. The Conference room will host disscussions on traumatic points of contemporary art. Each month one member of the Department of Pure and Applied Philosophy will hold direct dialogues by Internet Relay Chat. There will also be the NSK Information Center on-line. In a word, the NSK Electronic Embassy Tokyo is virtually a virtual state.
