SUZUKI Yuri SUZUKI Yuri was born in 1980. After working as an assistant at Maywa Denki, SUZUKI graduated from the Royal College of Art (RCA) in London with a major in Design Products. Studying under Durrell BISHOP, SUZUKI researched the mechanism of the influence of sound and music on human beings. Currently based in London, he creates contents for events and workshops as a freelance designer. He also performs on a Theremin, a digital music instrument.

Dainippon Type Organization Dainippon Type Organization was formed by Hidechika and TSUKADA Tetsuya in 1993. It is an experimental type of organization to search for a new concept of letters by disassembling, composing, and reassembling letters such as Japanese and the western alphabet. The organization has held solo exhibitions in London, Barcelona and Tokyo, as well as having released an educational toy, "TOYPOGRAPHY," with KOKUYO, Co., Ltd. in 2007. To commemorate its 15th anniversary, the organization issued "Dainipponji" (2008, SEIBUNDO-SHINKOSHA Co., Ltd.,) which shows their entire works.

FURUKATA Masahiko FURUKATA Masahiko was born in 1968. FURUKATA's main study theme is "algorithmic thinking." He conducts seminars and joint research focusing on themes such as "algorithmic design" and "design through programming" at art schools. His research results have been published or recorded in application software and are distributed. The author of "Flash Math & Physics Design" (2008, SOFTBANK Creative Corp.) He has also released software including, "gam," "mifi," etc. He was certified as a "Genius Programmer / Super Creator" in the latter half of 2004 by the IPA Software Innovation Explanatory Human Resources Project (MITOH Program.) FURUKATA also works as an Associate Professor at the International Academy of Media Arts and Sciences (IAMAS) and is a part-time lecturer at Tama Art University and Musashino Art University.

MANABE Daito + ISHIBASHI Motoi + HORIO Kanta + YANAGISAWA Tomoaki These four members share the hacker's space 4nchor5 la6 (read as, "Anchor's Lab",) which is an open research and production space established in 2008 under a joint investment by DGN Co., Ltd. and Rhizomatiks Co., Ltd. With main members, MANABE Daito and ISHIBASHI Motoi, joined by HORIO Kanta and YANAGISAWA Tomoaki , the idea of this space is to gather artists and designers and enable them to create and share new ideas together. The 4nchor5 la6 not only works for clients, but also carries out its own projects.

MANABE Daito MANABE Daito was born in 1976. He is an artist, hacker, designer, DJ, and VJ. With his solid programming skills, thorough research and a flexible viewpoint, MANABE has participated in a number of projects. In 2009, an experimental visual image that he created using faces as a visualizer of music became a hot topic on YouTube. MANABE will be serving as a judge in the digital music category for the 2009 Prix Ars Electronica. He established 4nchor5 la6 in 2008 and operates the company jointly with ISHIBASHI Motoi. MANABE also serves as a Director of Rhizomatiks Co., Ltd.

ISHIBASHI Motoi ISHIBASHI Motoi was born in 1975. He is an artist, programmer, and designer. ISHIBASHI graduated from the International Academy of Media Arts and Sciences (IAMAS.) He established DGN Co., Ltd. in 2006, designing and producing interactive systems for showrooms and permanent exhibition at science museums, etc. Utilizing his electronic crafting and programming skills, ISHIBASHI energetically produces works in a wide range of fields such as art, design, study, performance, etc. with expansion of playing and hacking as his main themes. He is a director of DGN Co., Ltd.

HORIO Kanta HORIO Kanta was born in 1978. He is an artist. HORIO studied acoustics and sound art at the Kyushu Institute of Design. Alongside his performance and installation activities, he uses assorted self-built devices combining electromagnets, motors, microphones, gadgets, etc. HORIO organizes unique events such as "DΩrkbΩtTΩkyΩ" (dorkbot - tokyo) for electronic community fanatics.

YANAGISAWA Tomoaki YANAGISAWA Tomoaki was born in 1980. He is a designer. After graduating from the Department of Design Informatics, Musashino Art University, YANAGISAWA moved to the U.K. and studied at Goldsmiths College and Design Interactions, Royal College of Art (RCA) in London. While participating in exhibitions at MoMA, Biennale Internationale Design Saint-Étienne, etc., he has also been working for 4nchor5 la6, a space for study and production, and is involved in projects and workshops at museums, events, commercial facilities as a designer and engineer.

SHIGETA Yusuke SHIGETA Yusuke was born in 1981. After graduating from the Department of Design, Collage of Art, Nihon University in 2004 and working for a visual production company, SHIGETA studied at the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo National University of the Arts in 2008. Currently, he is producing mainly digital animations as a videographer and director. His work "Dynamics of Stories" (2008-2009) was screened at the 12th Japan Media Arts Festival, the 31st Tokyo Video Festival, and the Image Forum Festival 2009.
