Discussion will revolve around arenas of creation increasingly incorporating
media environments and networks and their relationship with the real
(physical) body. Panelists will also discuss issues involving the
transforming relationship between reality and virtuality, and creation
and education in these environments, presenting the state of art and
activism with examples from KHM and other media centers and institutions.
Notice: Prof. Dr. Siegfried Zielinski, director of the Academy of
Media Arts, Cologne, was to be one of the panelists of the symposium
but will be replaced by Prof. Dr. Georg Trogemann, co-director of
the Academy.
