Please find attached our proposal
for Site 14 in your“Mirage City”Project.
We think that the“Spatial Retaining Bars”from 1989 might be a more
appropriate reaction
to the given site than the project you had assigned for it(Helsinki
Museum of Contemporary Art).
The design of the MoCA is a result of very specific site conditions
whereas the“Retaining Bars”
were thought for a“noncontextual urbanism”.
Please let us know how you think about the suggested transformation
of the initial project.
