Die Audio Gruppe (Director: Benot
Maubrey) is a sound performance group based in Germany. Since 1983
they have performed widely in Europe, the Americas and elsewhere.
Members dress in electro-acoustic clothing equipped with samplers
and miniature loudspeakers, and perform in public spaces. They produce,
mix and multiply their own and the surrounding sounds to create an
environmental concert. They are making their first visit to Japan
for the occasion of the opening of ICC, and have scheduled a variety
of pre-event performances to be held in several locations in the Tokyo
area beginning April 11.
