- "Propria Cures" was the student weekly publication of the University of
Amsterdam. The censored issue was from 5 March 1966.
- Description of incident
- The front page of this issue of "Propria Cures" included a comic by
Opland in which a German soldier says, "Schweinhunde." Also on the cover
was a photograph of Queen Wilhelmina, under which was the text "Sla de
mot op de kop" freely translated as "Hit the Kraut in the face." This is
a quotation of Queen Wilhelmina.
- Results of incident
- The entire print run of this issue was kept out of the bookshops by the
publisher.
