"Interactive Plant Growing" 1992/2007

An installation with plant growth theories and real-time changes and mutations that occur in an imaginary, three-dimensional space. Visitors will be able to approach and touch the living plants, and through their hand movements, control the growth of the programmed imaginary plants. By growing imaginary plants through artificial means, this work looks to shed light on the fundamental theories of life, unhampered by a specific species' phenotypic modulation or morphogenesis.
