As Nasty as They Wanna Be (double LP, cassette and CD formats) Live performance of songs from the album, including "Me So Horny," "Dick Almighty," "Throw the D" and "Get the Fuck Out of My House"rny," "Dick Almighty," "Throw the D" and "Get the Fuck Out of My House"Crew's album "As Nasty As They Wanna Be" (not to be confused with its lyrically tamer counterpart, "As Clean As They Wanna Be") was obscene, and that anyone caught selling or performing songs from it (including the classic "Me So Horny") would be subject to arrest and prosecution. Gonzalez' ruling prompted Broward County Sheriff Nick Navarro to arrest Campbell and another 2 Live Crew member following the group's performance at an adults-only show in Hollywood, Florida. Two other Crew members were not apprehended, despite an operation that involved 12 police cruisers. (Campbell's send up of the arrest and his "colorful" opinions on Navarro and Florida Gov. Bob Martinez can be found on the album Banned in the USA, recorded under Campbell's solo name, Luke.

Description of incident

Navarro's deputies also arrested record store owner Charles Freeman, who responded by continuing to take money for copies of Nasty and having it shipped to customers from New York City.

Results of incident

2 Live Crew acquitted of obscenity charges.

Freeman was convicted of selling the album and fined $1,000 and fined $1,000
