Artists

FUJIKURA Asako

Born 1992. Graduated in Persian Studies from the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, and completed studies at the Department of New Media in the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts.

Themed on detecting the primordial magic that exists in contemporary cities, her works take the form of installations revolving around visuals created with 3D computer graphics, showing various urban infrastructures and industrial products as they run free and uncontrolled. FUJIKURA is also active as a creator of music videos, and as a VJ. Her work was nominated for the “MEC Award 2018.”
