“Workshop on database/interface development for media arts and culture”

Outline

The contents of the currently developed “database and interface for the construction of the Japanese cultural history in media arts” will be released on the website, and the project members will hold demonstrations and presentation for the public, on how to use it. We will propose and discuss new perspectives on restoring media art including cultural extensibility. We will expand the discussion from the perspective of contemporary and modern art history, as well as the history of information visualization and computer science in order to further use and develop the database and interface.
