Born 1987 in Yamaguchi. Studied dance at the Japan Women’s College of Physical Education Dance Studies Major, and further, at the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts. In her creative work, she compiles the human behavior of “watching and listening” into movies based on the distinctive physical sensations and phenomena of living beings. Her movie “hottamaru days” (2015) received a New Face Award in the Entertainment Division at the Japan Media Arts Festival, and “grooming” won the YCAM Film Competition for Imaginary Film Music in 2013.
