Born 1992 in Tokyo. Skillfully interweaves light projections movies with narratives/timelines, with the aim to create occasions that inspire a novel kind of viewer involvement. At the Tokyo University of the Arts 66th Graduation Works Exhibitions in 2018, OKA received the Purchase Prize for “1-8-19, Yanagi-machi, Okayama-City,” an installation themed on the artist’s memories of her grandmother’s house in Okayama.
