He is exploring the potential of biological interfaces and synthetic ecologies upon artistic practice. As well as hybrid architectures with biological materials, he has been involved in the visualization of biological information in realtime and the creation of interactive installations. Born in Bogota (Colombia), he is currently living and working in Tokyo. Postdoctoral research fellow, he is investigating the impact of emerging biological interfaces as method to explore actual hybrid symbiosis. In 2008 he founded Biodynamic geometries and since its inception he has developed an international exhibition program of biomedia art installations.
