Profile

Thereminist and Sound Explorer, with a degree in applied engineering from the University of Santiago, Chile and Theater Performance at the Teatro Imagen school. Co-founder and director of “Electromagnetic—International Theremin Festival” and executive coordinator of the 13th Media Arts Biennial. With a scientific and engineering training, combined with artistic and musical creation, she develops a sound research on theremin, whether as an instrument, interface or as an extension of her own voice, exploring its multiple possibilities, transforming sounds into atmospheres and landscapes.

Her works include silent film musicalizations, media projects, sound actions and solo presentations. She has performed and participated in concerts in Chile, Peru, Argentina, Uruguay, Russia and Switzerland. As a popularizer activist of the instrument, she carries out workshops and open classes, presenting the instrument and creating bridges between science and art, generating spaces for dialogue and discussion to unite what the industrial era has separated.
