SATO Masahiko
Born in 1954. Professor, Graduate School of Film and New Media,
Tokyo University of the Arts. After working for Dentsu Inc., served as professor at Keio University from 1999.
Transfered to current position in 2006. Well-known works include PlayStation software "I.Q.,"
and NHK Educational TV program "Pythagora-Switch." Researches 'methods of expression and education,'
most recently focusing on topics including 'brain science and animation.'
KIRIYAMA Takashi
Born in 1964. Associate professor at the Graduate School of Film and New Media,
Tokyo University of the Arts. Started from the study of design knowledge, currently working on establishing film and
media studies. Obtained Ph.D. in Engineering from Department of Precision Machinery, Faculty of Engineering, the University of Tokyo.

Creative group, consisting of former students of Keio University, SATO Masahiko Laboratory.
Started in 2005. Produced the 'Pythagora-Souchi' corner of the NHK Educational TV program
"Pythagora-Switch." Awarded Gold prize at ADC 86th Annual Awards (New York) for the short film
"A-POC INSIDE." YAMAMOTO Kohji Robert and SATO Masashi joined for this exhibit to produce their
first media art piece together with TOPICS researcher ISHIKAWA Masaya.
ISHIKAWA Masaya
Born in 1980. Finished the Graduate School of Media and Governance, Keio University.
Researcher at Planning Office TOPICS. Designed book binding for "Nihon no Switch," and "Yamada-Gan"
(both published by The Mainichi Newspapers), and created the concept and visual work for the animation "Factory of Ideas."
SAITO Tatsuya
Born in 1979. Finished Graduate School of UCLA Department of Design | Media Arts. Research fellow for
Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, and Ph.D. student at Graduate School of Film and New Media,
Tokyo University of the Arts, SATO Masahiko Laboratory. Won Grand-Prix at Laval Virtual 2006 (France), Bronze Prize at the 9th L'Oreal Art & Science of Color Prize.
YASUMOTO Masasuke
Born in 1980. Ph.D. student at Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts, KIRIYAMA Takashi Laboratory.
Produces CG based animation and interactive works. Selected as IPA (Information-Technology Promotion Agency, Japan)
Exploratory Software Project 2007, and developed the balance ball interface.
IDAKA Kumiko
Born in 1982. After graduating from Musashino Art University and working in publishing, she completed her Master's
degree at the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts. Currently working as education
research assistant at the same school. Studies and produces interactive works.
KATSUME Yuichiro
Born in 1983. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts,
Department of Architecture. Currently a student at the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of Arts, SATO Masahiko Laboratory.
